Points structure for 2010 East Coast Derby

1st place- 25, 2nd-23, 3rd-21, 4th-19, 5th-18, 6th-17, 7th-16, 8th-15, 9th-14, 10th-13, 11th-12, 12th-11, 13th-10, 14th-9.5, 15th-9, 16th-8.5, 17th-8, 18th-7.5, 19th-7, 20th-6.5, 21st-6, 22nd-5.5, 23rd or less-5

Each builder can earn bonus points (during preliminary runs) for:

• Car runs 4 exact times rounded to .000- 10 points
• Car runs 3 exact times rounded to .000- 5 points

Each builder can run as many cars as they like under the same builder name but only the fastest car will count towards point totals.

The March race will be a double points race and the June race will be triple points!!!

Each builder is allowed to drop their lowest point total per class at seasons end.  This does not apply to the rookie class.

Prizes

Trophies will be given to each class winner at the end of the series in June.  A cash prize and overall championship trophy will be given to the overall series champion.  The cash prize will be equal to 25% of actual entry fees collected throughout the season.  The Rookie BSA class will have a trophy for the season champion.  Rookie class participants are not eligible for the overall title.
